Alan Hodge who started the Summer Scholastics program in 2000 and continued to improve it each year for the next two years returned with his family to Ohio in December of 2002. Alan did a tremendous job with the program and left us a set of solid blueprints and a great track record as his legacy. The club intends to continue with the work he started and continue to provide young players with a fun summer chess activity. We thank Alan for his hard work and devotion to the program and his high standards of quality as a regular TD for the club. |
