Monthly Maintenance

Order of Activities for Monthly Maintenance of the site.

• Do Link Checks and corrections using MS Front Page

• Do Link Checks using Xenu's Link Sleuth

• Create of a site map using Xenu's Link Sleuth.  Guidelines on how to use the program to do this are on the Site Map page.

• Backup the log file from the previous month.

• Create a Log file analysis and post it as a zip file.  This avoids the information from appearing in the site map and avoiding link errors during link error checking.

• Perform the Sit submittal

• Log into the Email administration page and review then delete all messages sent to the Root account
