I played Mark Kaprielian some time in early January 2007 (a
QGA). I mentioned at the time to my 5 yr old son, Noam, that I had played
the president of the club and he had checkmated me. A month later, while I
was out of town, Noam made this picture while at daycare and explained that
it was my game against the president of the club. You'll see that he has
Mark as white, whereas actually he played black. I like the comment: "Wow,
he's tough". The game obviously made a big impression on him! |
