Ecleaner 2.01 http://members.tripod.com/schin26/index.htm $0.00

Last Reviewed 8/20/2000 This is a must have program for anyone who takes email content and throws it into a web

page. It will strip out headers, indents and most importantly, will strip out the hard returns so

that the text will once again wrap as it should. What is particularly nice about removing the

hard returns is that you can tell it to leave the blank lines so that it doesn't become one big

block of text. I highly recommend this program.

EditPad 3.51 http://www.jgsoft.com/

Last Reviewed 11/21/1999 Super Text editor to use in place of Notepad or Wordpad and it is free. What is particularly

nice is that you can multiple files open. Also, interestingly, it is the only program I've seen so

far that resides completely in the tool tray when open and not in the active programs area.

The only downside to this program is that it doesn't use button icons that look like those you

are used to seeing.

FullShot 6.03 http://www.inbit.com $0.00

Last Reviewed 7/12/2000 This program is an screen capture program. It came recommended to me by a professional

technical writer as the program of choice by tech writers. It lets you capture parts of

screens, pull down menues and more. The feature I like best is the ability to capture what it

calls "long documents" You can make the program, by way of two simple mouse clicks,

scroll a verticle scroll bar to capture all the contents of what is in the scrolling window!

Another handy feature is the ability to merge images. This is an excellent program.

PowerDesk 2000 4.0.12.6 http://www.mijenix.com/

Last Reviewed 11/21/1999 Replacement Explorer. Not a shareware. Gives you back two pane viewing and a bunch

more. This program is a must on any PC I work on.

ZipMagic 3.5.5 http://www.mijenix.com/

Last Reviewed 11/21/1999 Often gets reviewed as the best Zip package. Lets you treat zip

files as though they are folders. Just drag and drop in/out. Install

from within like it was any other folder. I've used many of the zip programs out there. This

one is the most powerful and easiest to use. The only drawback it has is that with Netscape

email, you need to disable its view zips as folders feature, which is easy to do, before you

can attached a zip file. With other email packages, it has a bunch of integrated features

including automatic unziping, but I haven't tried out the product with those other mailers.
